Shooting weddings will always be my first love. And typically, my busy event schedule doesn’t leave much time for anything else. But this winter and spring I’ve been able to photograph a handful of newborn sessions and have really enjoyed it. I’ve always liked shooting babies – especially babies of past wedding clients – but now, as a mom myself, I appreciate it on a whole new level. There is something so tender and fleeting about those first few weeks with a new baby, and capturing that time is very near and dear to me.
