david and ashley were married at Meadowbrook a couple of weeks ago, and i’m so excited to share some images from their amazing day!
i spent the first part of the morning with ashley and the girls while they got ready at the hyatt place in auburn hills
some pretty details
the amazing Amber from
Luigi Bruni did an incredible job with makeup (as always!) and Patty (also from luigi bruni) created ashley’s gorgeous ‘do. these two are the dream team! totally using them for my wedding – if we ever set a date that is 😉
ashley is seriously one of the most naturally photogenic girls I’ve ever worked with!
RAWR!!!
here’s her and david seeing each other for the first time. more and more of the couples I work with are choosing to meet before the ceremony for pictures. I always encourage this – I’ve found it really takes a lot of the pressure off. It’s such a nice little interlude for the couple, and plus, you get to go straight to your party!
lovin’ this shot of the guys. tilt-shift + sunflare = YUMMY!
here’s the ladies – such a pretty group!
i love the relaxed feel of this portrait of the siblings 😉 these are my favorite kinds of family shots.
love all of these – I think one of them is destined to be a huge canvas in the studio…
i could not get enough of these adorable flower girls! how cool did they look?
ashley and david are total foodies – the dinners featured fresh local ingredients and were plated so beautifully they were picture-worthy 😉
first dance
Hi Will and Alyssa! I shot these guys’
awesome wedding back in October (time flies!) – great to see you again!
not sure what’s goig on here – but it looks like fun!
the Intrigue Band rocked it out as always – I have to say, these guys are probably the best wedding band in Michigan. They can do anything – from Justin Timberlake, to Beyonce, to ACDC, to Kid Rock. They are always
amazing!
they even brought david and ashley up on stage to belt out some journey
So as I was walking back to my car at the end of the night, I turned around and saw this – and promptly unpacked my camera to take one last frame…
ashley and david – what an awesome day! hope you guys had an incredible time, and are settling in to your new life in Chicago. A2 misses you!! XOXO
abby these are absolutely spectacular! i had to just censor myself because this is a family blog 🙂 of COURSE it was worth the wait (even if i’ve maybe been checking 4x/day…)! we can’t wait to see everything else. and i like the sound of forever being life sized on one of your studio walls… thank you thank you thank you! you are the best, and i speak with authority.
Felicitations Ashley and David! Everything is georgeous..and crazy (the David’s touch I guess 🙂
Hey my wife Julie (another breed from the Bay area) and I are living only 90miles away from you guys: I landed few years ago at Notre Dame. So if you guys are interesting in watching a FANTASTIC team (no matter what Jeff Torri will say they are at least better than CU), there is a place to stay…granted that you can endure two screaming boys under age 2 1/2…
Congratulations again
