I seriously am so lucky to have some of the coolest, kindest people on earth as my clients ;-)
I've gotten so many thoughtful gifts this year - from gift cards to coffee cakes, spa gift certificates, even a mezuzah!
Just yesterday, Deb swung by the studio with a prezzie so cool I had to share it! Deb is a hugely talented ceramics artist - you may remember her wedding from October, where she gifted her wedding party with custom mugs. Well, now I have one of my very own! Check this out:

Carli and Spencer wanted to do a wintertime e-shoot - and as soon as they mentioned making s'mores, I knew it would be a blast! Carli's family has a beautiful home in Barton Hills (complete with fire pit!) that served as the perfect location

It's always fun to see my work in print! check out Nick and Stephanie in the latest issue of the knot magazine, on newsstands now!
I know my blogging has been kind of sporadic lately - I have swamped working to get stuff done for clients before the holidays! Christmas cards, save-the-dates, album designs and the like have been keeping me BUSY! Not to mention shooting and editing ;-) I'll be sharing lots of fun shoots - and maybe even a few albums - as soon as things slow down a bit (do they ever!?!?)

i LOVE this next one - I'm always looking for creative ways to shoot kids during these Synagogue sessions - I mean, sure, the "hold the torah and smile!" shot is important, but I always try and get a little more creative than that, too...

Jolie's evening party was ahhhMAYzing! Another Dee Dee Hoffman event, this shindig had EVERYTHING - photobooths, candle-making, cotton candy, even a giant inflatable moon bouce! Jolie is one lucky lady ;-)

elyse and ryan are a super-fun couple. I'm so looking forward to their wedding at the beautiful royal park hotel. we met up a couple of weeks ago for a laid-back engagement session in ann arbor. Here are some of my faves!
